Az Central: Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina has been a major disasster since it struck Louisianna and Mississippi. I have a few friends that are from that part of the United States and are a little distraught about it. The hurricane had thrown a tree in the way of one of their friends driveways and has blocked them into their own house. It has even effcted our state through the rise in gasoline prices and the move of the refugees from Louisiana here which is, in my mind, one of the best moves that we have made as a country. The thing that is confusing to me is why don't we do the same in Mississippi also.
